Electric Mobility Canada


Electric Mobility Canada – Mobilité Electrique Canada is a new national membership – based organization not-for-profit organization dedicated exclusively to the promotion of electric mobility as a readily available and important solution to Canada’s emerging energy and environmental issues. Electric Mobility Canada – Mobilité Electrique Canada was launched following a December 5, 2005 workshop in Vancouver attended by a wide cross section of interested stakeholders from across Canada. At this workshop an Implementation Committee was formed to oversee development activities. This committee includes representatives from Bombardier Transportation, Toyota Canada, Hydro-Québec, BC Hydro, Industry Canada, Transport Canada, Natural Resources Canada, Environment Canada, Azure Dynamics, Unicell, Ministry of Transportation of Manitoba, Vancouver’s TransLink and others.
