The United Illuminating Company (UI) is an electric transmission and distribution utility based in New Haven, Connecticut. Our service territory consists of 17 municipalities located in a coastal region of Connecticut. The 320,000 residential customers within this area comprise approximately 35% of Connecticuts's total population.
