Washington, DC – August 7, 2025 –The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) is proud to announce the continuation of its valued partnership with The Green Transportation Summit & Expo (GTSE) as both organizations deepen their shared commitment to advancing electric drive technologies and next-generation transportation.

GTSE 2025, taking place August 26–28 in Tacoma, Washington, will feature EDTA President Genevieve Cullen delivering opening remarks, highlighting national progress in electric transportation, and outlining EDTA’s initiatives in policy, infrastructure, and industry innovation. Genevieve will also preview the upcoming 39th Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS39), taking place June 21-24, 2026, in Long Beach, California, reinforcing the alignment between regional and global efforts to accelerate sustainable mobility.

This strategic partnership reflects both GTSE’s and EDTA’s commitment to scaling up deployment, shaping policy, and preparing the workforce to advance electric drive technologies and next-generation transportation. At GTSE 2025, EDTA’s involvement will amplify discussions around electrification of medium- and heavy-duty (MHD) fleets, policy alignment at federal and state levels, and the essential role of industry collaboration. Genevieve’s opening comments will also include a preview of the programming for EVS39, inviting stakeholders to join the global conversation in Long Beach on next-gen EV technology, investment, and international best practices.

At EVS39, GTSE will host a dedicated Medium- and Heavy-Duty Mobility Track, expanding its national footprint and showcasing its leadership in commercial fleet decarbonization. This track will focus on real-world deployment, regional case studies, charging infrastructure, and workforce development strategies tailored to MHD adoption. As the momentum for clean transportation accelerates, GTSE and EDTA continue to stand at the forefront—bridging public and private sectors, shaping policy, and building the path to advance electric drive technologies and next-generation transportation future.
