World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA)
EDTA is a founding partner of the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA), launched in 1990. WEVA is a non-profit organization that promotes the research, development, and deployment of electric drive vehicles and consists of three regional organizations: the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), the European Association for Electromobility (AVERE), and the Electric Vehicle Association of Asia Pacific (EVAAP). These three international associations promote electric vehicle concepts and policies in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, respectively.
WEVA organizes the internationally renowned Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS), bringing together leaders from industry, government and academia to advance electrification around the globe.
World Electric Vehicle Journal
The World Electric Vehicle Journal (ISSN 2032-6653) is the first peer-reviewed international scientific journal that covers all studies related to battery, hybrid, and fuel cell electric vehicles comprehensively. It is the official journal of The World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) and its member the European Association for e-Mobility (AVERE), the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), and the Electric Vehicle Association of Asia Pacific (EVAAP). It is published quarterly online by MDPI from Volume 9, Issue 1 (2018).
