EDTA Board of Directors Announces New Chair

Washington, DC—The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) announced that Lincoln Wood, Clean Transportation Manager for Southern Company, has been elected Chair during its quarterly Board of Directors meeting in Washington, DC. 

EDTA President Genevieve Cullen stated, “We are at a pivotal juncture for electric transportation. Lincoln’s industry expertise and leadership will play a vital role as EDTA expands its efforts to promote U.S. innovation, domestic investment, and energy security through e-mobility."

Mr. Wood stated, "EDTA uniquely represents the entire electric transportation value chain and is an essential player advancing policies and collaborations that will unleash the national benefits of electric drive. I am excited to take on the role of Chair and work with EDTA’s members to build on the progress our industry has made in the global race toward electrification.”  

Lincoln Wood succeeds Andre Welch, Director of Government Relations at Ford Motor Company. EDTA’s Board of Directors acknowledged Andre’s outstanding leadership and service to the association.
