EDTA Statement Following Treasury’s Release of Section 45W Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

WASHINGTON – Following the IRS's announcement of the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on the tax credit for Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicles (45W), Genevieve Cullen, President of the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), stated:

"The Section 45W incentive is an important tool for businesses electrifying their fleets and an important element of US leadership in electric transportation.  EDTA appreciates the Treasury Department’s efforts to provide the clarity businesses need to grow critical investments in commercial clean vehicles.
