January 19, 2024

WASHINGTON – Following the release of guidance on the Section 30C incentive by the US Department of the Treasury, Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) President Genevieve Cullen issued the following statement:

“Diverse and accessible charging and fueling options are essential to electrifying transportation. Today’s release of guidance on the 30C qualified alternative fuel vehicle refueling credit is an important step in accelerating EV infrastructure buildout across the US. The guidance provides taxpayers with the information, flexibility and certainty necessary to invest in charging and fueling infrastructure as regulations are being developed. We look forward to working with the Treasury Department on final regulations and further catalyzing US leadership in electrification.”
